In 3D printing, objects are created layer by layer. This often results in visible lines and a rough texture. In some cases, this is perfectly adequate – especially when pure functionality is the primary concern.

Using modern slicer technologies – especially the ironing function – we refine the surface directly during the printing process. After the last layer, the nozzle passes over the surface again, evenly distributing the finest remaining material.

The result: a smooth, silky-shimmering surface that is convincing both visually and haptically – without any additional post-processing .
